This back and sleeve tattoo shows a Wonderland scene built out of elements from the Disney films. The backgrounds were painted, as shown in the tattoo, and the foregrounds were hand -drawn frames of animation and so had clear outlines and solid areas of color. Disney’s animations were the delight of his age; filled with color, music and movement that epitomized the joy of the post-war 1950s era.
