Love Your Life with a Geometric Tattoo by Marco Galdo

Marco Galdo is an Italian tattoo artist that designs individual tattoos for each of his clients. He refuses to do a tattoo design more than once, because he wants each design to be as unique as the person wearing it. Working out of his studio in Milan, Traffickers of Art, Galdo fuses tribal designs with sacred geometry to create dotwork tattoos that are a celebration of life and art. Mandalas are a recurring theme in Marco Galdo’s tattoos; you can learn more about the meaning of mandala tattoos on rattatattoo.com here.

Galdo’s designs have strong lines, clear geometric shapes and a spiritual symbolism that most people will find very appealing, even if they aren’t spiritual themselves. The strong contrast in his tattoo designs means that his finished body art works will stand up to scrutiny from any  distance.

Most of Marco Galdo’s tattoos are created with black and red inks which stand out beautifully against the pale skins of his European clients. People travel from further afield too, however, to get a Galdo tattoo, because his tattoo art is of such a high standard that the cost of travelling to Italy is worth it for his foreign clients. Check out these tattoos by Marco Galdo, and you’ll see why people are lining up for a geometric dotwork tattoo from this artist:

Using only black and red ink, tattoo artist Marco Galdo inks a back tattoo that is both and optical illusion and a fusion between spiritual art and graphic design
This back tattoo by Marco Galdo is simply awesome. The star is a powerful symbol in tattoo art as it symbolizes success, greatness and ambition. This a tattoo design that the client need never get tired of because it will always inspire him to aim for greatness, and, thanks to Galdo’s artistic talents; to reach for the stars and do it with STYLE.

Mandalas are also known as “flowers of life”. This mandala tattoo by Marco Galdo uses heart shapes in the design to create a symbol of both life and love.

Marco Galdo's exceptional linework and dotwork skills are apparent in this geometric tattoo design
Arrows point to the star at the center of this dotwork mandala tattoo by Marco Galdo. The flat colors of the mandala pop out in comparison to the textures of the dotwork geometry in the background.
The placement of this tattoo is excellent, because the bold nature of the design is on the shoulder – a highly visible part of the body.

A heart shaped mandala is the center of this sacred geometry tattoo by Marco Galdo
Marco Galdo offers this client a full back geometric tattoo that compliments the shape of her body. At the center of the tattoo is a heart shaped mandala that represents physicality. Above the heart is a brain shape, symbolizing the mind. Below the heart is a psychedelic pattern that symbolizes the spirit. Altogether, this design celebrates the connection between the body, the mind and the spirit.

Geometry, optical illusions and mandalas make up this modern tribal tattoo by Marco Galdo
This black and red, chest and sleeves tattoo showcases Marco Galdo’s skills with a tattoo machine. His lines are crisp and clear, his dotwork is smooth and the flat areas of color aren’t blotchy. These are all important elements in geometric dotwork tattoos, and you can rely on Marco Galdo to do a top notch job.

Marco Galdo's mandala tattoo accentuates his client's beautiful figure
Marco Galdo creates a feminine and floral tattoo for his client to compliment her figure.

Tattoo artist Marco Galdo uses black and red ink to create this chest tattoo of a mandala flower surrounded by geometric shapes
Trippy, huh? The black and red inks that Marco Galdo has used to create this geometric chest tattoo will remain vibrant and saturated for far longer than other colors. This means that the tattoo won’t just fade into a blur of color over time.

This heart mandala tattoo by Marco Galdo has an interesting texture thanks to his dotwork technique
Marco Galdo has chosen to place this heart mandala tattoo in his client’s cleavage. The placement, the flower, the heart at its centre and the delicate textures are all perfect for a feminine tattoo that celebrates love, life, creativity and a woman’s spirit.

This large back tattoo by Marco Galdo is a fusion of paisley patterns and geometric mandalas
Galdo creates perfect symmetry in this mandala tattoo. The paisley designs beneath the mandala are mirrored identically, something that is really tricky to do on the elastic canvas of human skin.

This versatile tattoo by Marco Galdo combines sacred geometry mandalas with modern graphic design
This geometric mandala tattoo by Galdo shows how one design can look completely different when viewed from a different angle. Marco Galdo has a talent for offsetting solid areas of color against dotwork patterns.
