American tattoo artist Mark Longenecker spends his days between the beach and his tattoo shop, surfing and creating cheerful surf tattoos for his clients. The name of his shop, Endless Summer, is based on an idea that surfers around the world often refer to; the concept of travelling around the world chasing the summer season from one country to another in search of the perfect wave. Longenecker chose the name for his shop because he feels that that is what life is all about – chasing a dream.<\/p>\n
Longenecker’s tattoo style is influenced by Japanese tattoo art and surf symbols. Neatly combining these two design aspects, Longenecker has created his own tattoo style that is cheerful, colorful and packed with all the busy-ness of living. He says he enjoys encouraging his clients to get tattoos on areas of their bodies that they are usually shy about showing off, because he feels that if they wear a tattoo in that area it will boost their confidence.<\/p>\n
